Information you choose to provide

If you contact Rank Asia, subscribe, or leave a comment, the site may receive the information you submit, such as your name, email address, and message. Do not send sensitive personal information through a public comment.

Technical information

The hosting platform and security systems may process basic request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamps to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.

Cookies and third parties

WordPress may use essential cookies for signed-in administrators and commenters. Essential cookies support security and core site functions and cannot be switched off through the analytics preference.

Google Analytics

Rank Asia uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are useful, how readers find the site, and how the site performs across device types. Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, general device and browser details, referring pages, broad geographic information, and interactions with site content. Rank Asia does not use Google Analytics to collect information you intentionally enter into comments or contact forms.

Analytics storage is denied unless you choose to allow statistics cookies through the consent banner. You can decline analytics and still use the site. You can also revisit your cookie preferences using the consent control shown on the site.

How long information is kept

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, legal obligations, security, or resolving disputes. Backups may retain deleted information for a limited recovery period.

Your choices

You may ask about personal information you submitted to Rank Asia or request correction or deletion where applicable by emailing privacy@rank.asia.
