First-hand and research-led work

We distinguish first-hand reporting from research-led planning. A research-led article never implies that an editor personally visited, tasted, or tested something. Primary sources are preferred for opening hours, prices, transport, rules, and closures.

Corrections and updates

Travel facts move. Guides show a reviewed date and are checked on a schedule based on how quickly their details can change. Material errors are corrected promptly; when an error could have changed a reader’s plans, we add a correction note.

Families, privacy, and safety

We do not publish a child’s school, accommodation, live location, or other identifying private information. Food, allergy, medical, visa, accessibility, and safety notes are general planning information, not professional guarantees.
